Welcome to My Work: Compassionate Support Through Life’s Transitions

Holistic care, palliative support and end-of-life companionship in Central Portugal, alongside healing support for life transitions and inner change.

There are times in life when we find ourselves in transition.

Sometimes that transition is gentle and internal, an awakening, a shift in identity, a deep questioning of who we are and how we want to live.

Sometimes it is more tangible and grounded, illness, recovery, ageing, or the need for practical support in daily life.

And sometimes it is one of life’s most profound thresholds, the journey towards the end of life, for ourselves or someone we love.

My work exists to support people through all of these seasons.

A Broader Kind of Support

My name is Andrea Rathsi, and I offer compassionate, holistic support for people navigating change, challenge and transition.

My work brings together three main areas:

Healing & Personal Transformation

For those experiencing inner change, emotional overwhelm, spiritual questioning or a sense that something within them is shifting.

This work offers grounded, supportive space to explore what is happening internally, reconnect with clarity, and find steadiness again. It draws on modern shamanic practices, embodied awareness, therapeutic tools and reflective guidance.

The focus is always on helping you feel more resourced, present and able to move forward in your own way.

Holistic Care & Daily Support

For individuals who need practical, compassionate care at home.

This may include support with daily living, companionship, recovery after illness or surgery, or assistance during periods of reduced independence.

My care work is rooted in dignity, presence and respect. It is not only about practical tasks, but about supporting the whole person, emotionally, physically and humanly, during times when extra support is needed.

Palliative & End-of-Life Support

For individuals and families navigating serious illness, palliative care or the end of life.

Alongside my care experience, I am a trained Death Doula (End-of-Life Companion), which allows me to offer additional emotional, practical and reflective support during this deeply important stage of life.

This may include companionship, support with conversations and planning, legacy work, presence during the final stages of life, and gentle support for families before and after death.

My role is not to take over, but to walk alongside, offering calm, clarity and compassionate presence.

A Common Thread

Although these areas may seem different, they are connected by a simple thread:

Life brings change.

And during times of change, we often need support that is grounded, compassionate and human.

Whether someone is navigating inner transformation, recovering from illness, adjusting to ageing, or facing end-of-life concerns, the need is often the same:

To feel safe, understood and not alone.

My Approach

My approach is holistic and person-centred.

I do not work from a fixed method or belief system. Instead, I listen deeply to what is needed in each situation and draw from my experience in care work, therapeutic support, embodied practice and end-of-life companionship.

Each person’s journey is unique, and the support offered is shaped accordingly.

Based in Central Portugal

I am based in Central Portugal and offer support locally, including home care, companion care, palliative support and end-of-life companionship.

I also work with individuals navigating personal and spiritual transformation who are seeking grounded, supportive guidance.

An Invitation

If you are going through a period of change, whether emotional, physical, relational or existential, you are welcome here.

You do not need to have the right words or a clear understanding of what you are experiencing.

A conversation is often the first step.

You are welcome to get in touch to explore whether my support is right for you or your situation.
